The Children’s Services Program
Camden Community Connection’s Children’s Services Program delivers a wide range of services and activitiesto families and children residing in the Camden LGA.
The program is funded by the NSW Department of Education & Training and issupported by local services, schools and organisations in the Macarthur Region.
A Family Worker provides families with referrals to other services; delivers parenting support and education; facilitates supported playgroups and other activities that help build an enriched and connected community.
Playgroups
Camden Community Connections (CCC) playgroups are facilitated by staff with a broad range of qualifications and experience. Workers plan and implement developmental programs where childrenhave fun while learning and engaging in active play.

Bright Stars Playgroup
Transition to School
This program is for children who are getting ready to go to big school. It runs for two hours per week during Term 4 and includes outcomes that are reflected in the Early Years Learning Framework. We are currently running Transition to School at Leppington Public School.
Breakfast Club
CCC, with support from community groups and organisations, runs a Breakfast Program every Tuesday at Leppington Public School. Students eat a range of healthy foods including cereal, pancakes, toast, fresh fruit and juice.

Events
CCC also participates in a number of community family events including,
- the Camden Play Day as part of Families Week celebrations in May each year
- Camden Kids Fun Day celebrating Children’s Week in September each year
- Narellan Rhythms Festival, a family, multicultural festival held during October each year
